Editing
Developmental Editing may consist of some or all of the following: consultation before or during the writing stage; restructuring the manuscript; rewriting sections; suggesting universal changes in style, tone, content, as well as specific changes, additions, and/or deletions to sections of the manuscript. Copyediting Copyediting consists of correcting grammar, style, and punctuation; fact-checking; creating a style sheet; improving sentences to enhance readability; and querying authors to clarify text and resolve conflicting statements. Proofreading Proofreading consists of correcting grammar, style, and punctuation. Pages proofed in layout will be reviewed for consistency in design and style.
